The Cypheles hatchlings share a gender but not the color
Was the egg the same color? Still pretty amazing that the alt shows in the hatching already
But hey!! It might just be that you need a black parent, because I got black and I bred with black

Leica posted the black one and it has black parent too. And the eggs are the same colour.

It seems at least somewhat consistent that the Pygmy is the color of the parent with some variation, but we'll have to experiment some more

Nice that everyone can get their Rewin's to actually breed and produce an egg. I've already tried half of mine and all are a big fat no.

EDIT: Well, I got 2 now, but the Rewin breeding has never been fun for me.
