to the left is the people in there. down the bottom of the screen is where you type to say stuff.

all I see is a grey screen with the words "this is a boat" and at the side is "users" and "admins"And I can't scroll down at all.
Help?

As far as I know, you only see the messages that are typed after you go into the chat area, not the chats before that. So if members there are not talking at the time you join the chat, you will only see the "hello and welcome" and "this is a boat" messages. This is the reason you cannot scroll down (there are no messages to read). Why not type a message and see if you get a response?
