Hmmm, my problem with the boxes is that I can never tell if anything happened or if it's even boosting the correct egg. Looks like it may have my eggs mixed up in the Inventory.

Hmmm, my problem with the boxes is that I can never tell if anything happened or if it's even boosting the correct egg. Looks like it may have my eggs mixed up in the Inventory.

Your eggs will change order based on which one is the furthest along, which of course can change frequently if you have them in a click thread or nursery. If there's particular eggs I want to hurry along, I'll usually check its number in my keep first. Then when I go to use the box, mouseover the various eggs until the tooltip pops up and shows the one I want. Try that. If you just want the lowest percentage egg of a particular breed, that's generally the one on the far right of that breed. But of course, there's no way to know how much growth the box will add, so it could end up anywhere in your lineup after that, and you won't know which one it is unless you noted the number before you used the box.
