Fantasy, horror and history <3

Love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter sagas of course, adore Anne Rice's and Stephen King's books...

And that's maybe weird, but I love Les Miserables by Victor Hugo :hooray:

I love friction, fantasy ^^

My fav series of all time is Alex Rider (can't believe hes going to face a 'fate worse then death' in the last book D:
I also enjoy books from animals perspectives like Warriors and Varjack Paw (an equally enjoyable cat book)
Oh and anything with mythical creaters, especially dragons if tehy arnt all evil, are especially loved ^^

I don't read fiction much for some reason. My Mum has a very extensive library of romantic and historical fiction and some nonfiction. I tried to get her interested in fantasy and sci-fi, but she found it too hard because of her grounded upbringing.

I read a little bit of everything, though I have never developed a taste for romance. I majored in English in college and reading is right up there with breathing and eating for me. I just started Rats, Lice, and Historym which is about how human history has been impacted by typhus. I've got a few books on serial killers lined up next. Hey - it's the right time of year to read creepy stuff!

Also, if I'm allowed to do this - those with books and who want to get new stuff might try Book Mooch (www.bookmoch.com). You list your "extras" and use the points to mooch books you want from other members. Free books. Nom.

Romance (the none smutty kind), teen books (the ones that make sense. XD), um...a little bit of fantasy is okay. Lol I'm kind of picky with books.

I read ALL THE TIME.

Horror for me... it's easiest to read. I have wild imagination and I like to write a bit myself... so I am extremely picky about my books. Fantasy I don't read at all because I can invent more interesting worlds myself. Apart from Discworld, that's just awesome. Lately I can only read classic books at all since it's more about the beautiful use of language rather than stories.
