I'd recommend posting a looking to buy/borrow thread in the Merchant District.
Also be aware that quests do not accept eggs that have been frozen, are named or are part of a lineage.
Also there is no need to rush though quests. They do not expire once you start them. You can start a quest one day and continue it any time later should you choose to.
