i am new to the sprite art ,any advice?

i have just start spriting and i want some help guys.First of all about resizing ,has to be before or after spriting .Second i just want to know how many hours takes to finish a good sprite .Finally can someone tell me one by one the steps from a sketch to a sprite .It will be great help guys

Resizing must be done before spriting, and teh amount of time varies form person to person.

Yeah, I can finish my sprites within minutes, not saying they're THAT good, but they're not bad either.

It really depends on the person.

Oh, and if you want me to make a guide to spriting, I could do?

Oh, Careful spriting can take a while, probably a few hours, maybe. And anyway, like I said before, You can freely ask me on a simple step by step guide on how to make them?

A really carefully done sprite takes me between 2 and 5 hours to do, depending on the complexity.
