Life is associated with plants, and plants grow from the earth. It seems like an obvious connection! There's plenty of earth/air and fire/water creatures though, despite them being complete opposites.
Also, there appears to be no earth/water creatures. I find it odd for this to happen in a site that's been here for 15 years and has 1400+ creatures.
Why are there no earth/life creatures?

Re: Why are there no earth/life creatures?
There is one Life/Earth creature, the Earth Unicorn (which is a doni). That said, according to Rosehill's post about elements, Earth is controlling stone or Metal, and Life is "The magical ability to heal, and cause growth, and be attuned to the nature". So most of the nature/plant based creatures are going to be life attribute b/c of that, but NOT Earth b/c no stone or metal powers.
Looking at the Bestiary, the Fire/Water creatures all seem to be ice based. Which tracks b/c, according to Rosehill's post about the elements Fire attribute involves controlling heat, and what is the cold but the absence of heat. And Water attribute is controlling water/ice and moving through it. So a fire/water creature can control the temperature/eat around it, by making it cold (fire) and can control ice/water itself and/or swim (water)
And Air/Earth works b/c it's just, something that flys that can manipulate stone or metal. And they also all seem to be CRYSTALwings. Crystal = stone
Very strange no Earth/Water tho, an aquatic creature that can control rocks would be neat.
