Breeding Koi with Ibex to create the hybrid Capricorn in an interesting endeavor with many potential outcomes. However, when it comes to the different forms of Capricorn, it seems that some forms are more likely to be breed versus others.

While some potential interest was noted by the Ibex, the Ouranian Koi was vehemently against any sort of interaction with the Ibex.
Breeding Ibex to Dragon Koi

Some Magi have claimed that their Dragon Koi and Ibex have produced the four main variants of Capricorn. I suspect this is due to poor recording of breeding and a regular Koi fish was involved. However, said Magi are convinced that Dragon Koi were in fact breeding with Ibex. More studies are needed to determine if this is the case. One Magi has the listed records for Dragon Koi/Ibex breeding.

If this data is to be believed, Meridian Capricorn are still less likely to be produced. And, while Tidal are a common variety, Amethyst were most likely to be produced.
Conclusion: Tidal Capricorn did seem to be the most likely variant to be bred while Meridian were much less likely to be produced. However, there is some contention that Amethyst is more common if the Dragon Koi to Ibex information has any validity. As the breeding pool was so small, more studies are needed to confirm this data.
