Favourite Board Games?

I really like Risk! I play it with my family as often we get the chance. I always end up teaming with my siblings to overthrow our power hungry parents, then split land like diplomats. Strange how it works out

I enjoy quite a few board games, but my favourites are probably Mysterium, Dixit, Alchemist, and one which a friend of a friend got on early release that I don't remember the name of (it was set in the future and you could time travel to try and get resources).

I had played board games mainly in my grade school years with my sister, it was fun to see her reaction whenever she lost.

Though I would not mind learning to play chinese chess, even if normal chess does not interest me that much. To other games would be Seneth which I have plaid back in the University where the library held once a year a themed nearly all night event and it had been "Ancient civilizations" at that time. It was fun to play, even if I would have lost to my friend who had been my opponent.

Another game would be Tatsu which I recently got and plan to pack in when visiting my friends this winter to find someone who would be willing to paly it with me.

Monopoly and Candy Land all the way. Those were and still are my favorite games although most of my family hate board games.

Illimat is so good! It's made by the Decemberists but designed by game professionals. super cool secret society vibes with fun logical gameplay. Can't recommend it enough!

I also really like Betrayal at House on the Hill. V spooky and different every time!

definitely the game of Life, prob because there are so many options where as we dont get those choices irl lol
also because of the fond memories I have of kicking my husband out of my car and needing a second car for the kids I was having

Hmm, does Betrayal at House on the Hill count as a board game? Cuz that's the most recent board game I've played that I remember enjoying a lot haha
