Re: A New Potion! Winners Announced!

Hello again everyone! I see I am breaking a rule; perhaps Morgaln will be kind enough to overlook it this time as I have chosen two winners from the potion entries I received. One of the winning potions was created by Birds, the other by Kestrad. Congratulations to both of you for such creating such...

Re: A New Potion!

Hello everyone! Today is the last day to enter my contest, so if you have not yet sent me a message you still have a few hours left. I have also made a decision regarding the next area of study I feel should be expanded upon. I am happy to say that I am making plans for my next contest and will anno...

Re: A New Potion!

Magi or creatures may use the potion, cusith.

If your potion is being used similar to a perfume or some sort of diffused oil, that would be acceptable sarahjazz but just adding it into candle wax would not.

Re: A New Potion!

You must use a creature item as well as something else, be it a mineral or a plant or something else, so at minimum two ingredients. In this situation a mineral would not be something from a creature, so the gems from a crystalwing would count for the creature item only. Your potion should be consum...

Re: A New Potion!

You may post any potions or discuss ideas here in this thread if you wish. I have not limited the number of potions you may submit but I do ask that quality be considered before quantity.

As the deadline to enter is fast approaching I hope to see many more entries in the next few days!

Re: A New Potion!

I have already received a number of entries and I hope to see many more of you join in. Remember, you have just over a week left until the deadline!

I would also like to hold similar contests in the future, perhaps someone has a suggestion or two to share?

Re: A New Potion!

You may choose to be very scientific or not, that is up to you. Either way, the potion, ingredients and effects should be clearly described.

Re: A New Potion!

Do the ingredients have to already be ones that are available already in the game (ie: Ashen feather) or can we make up our own ingredients as long as they are probable to be located within the world? Be creative! You may of course use ingredients that have already been discovered as well as ingred...

Re: A New Potion!

You do not need to create any art for this contest. You can if you wish, of course, and if any one does I do hope they will post their creations here.

A New Potion! Winners Announced!

Hello everyone, it's been a few months since I last had a moment to speak with all of you. I believe many of you are aware that earlier this year several ancient and rare bestiaries were badly damaged as a result of holiday celebrations gone somewhat awry. As Head Librarian, I am delighted to inform...
