Re: Bad words
Vipor, I read through the rest of the thread and didnt see a single person say that you've never been bullied. You've never been oppressed. Bullying and oppression are 2 different things (that sometimes intersect, but thats another conversation entirely). You are not a part of any marginalized group...

Re: Bad words
I feel you have perhaps missed the point of this topic. It is a discussion of bad words. Not bad words that are insulting. If I drop a meal in my kitchen that I've just dropped and yell "fuck" this is a bad word. This is not an insult. This does not belittle anyone. I feel you have perhap...

Re: Bad words
Basically, if it hurts somebody, don't use it. Your interpretation of the word or your right to use it doesn't trump their right not to feel afraid or panicked. This is exactly how I feel about it. And it's super telling that it's typically people who are privileged and unaffected by the harmful me...

Re: Thank You For the Gifts!
I've been having a pretty stressful month, so opening all the gifts has made me feel 230 times better. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who sent me gifts. (I missed the name of the first present I opened. Sorry, person!) Twister4eva, Arionn, Cheystar, yummyquik, Niti, MistyoC, Varnayrah, ...

Re: Anniversary wishlist
Yay, 12 out of 25 gifts! After looking at a creature list, I'm revising my wishlist to include any dragon-like creatures and the Aurora Whale. (I wish I had more amazing creatures to give out to folks)

Re: April fools
*groans* I have spent countless amounts of gold and I haven't gotten any of the creatures I wanted most. I've always had terrible luck but jeez. (my hands are cramping from gold mining at this point )

Re: Welcome to MagiStream The Gathering!
This was a really fun idea, Tristan, thank you. It'd be really cool if the shop could become a permanent feature, with some tweaks, of course. Even if it was just common stream creatures 99% of the time, with the occasional shop critter. This. Soch is brilliant. It's be worth it as a gold sink for ...
