I can relate. I'd rather collect them all than battle them. Battling is normally the last thing I do on my checklist.

I like the gender change, too. Could come in handy. How about an age-reversing item? It could take the desired creature back a stage. Like, if someone wanted to have a particular creature as a hatchling but decided too late, so they could just reverse the age. Though maybe it could only work with a...
