Phasivo are most commonly found in and around Synara, where they symbolize the wealth and power of the nobility. However, as gorgeous as they are, their rider had best know what they're doing; phasivo can be vain and temperamental, and enjoy bucking off riders who aren't paying enough attention. Many passersby have been entertained by a young noble lord or lady attempting to placate their phasivo with exaggerated, hyperbolic compliments and reassurances that their phasivo is the prettiest of them all.

Hatchling phasivo are rambunctious and more than a little bratty, prone to stealing clothes and shiny objects to hide or use as bedding if soft enough. They adore attention and will wander around until they find someone to coo over them. While magi are preferred, and the higher-ranking the better, they'll accept cuddles from other creatures if it comes to it. Even as hatchlings, phasivo don't get along well with their elite cousins, and even within their own family groups they often fight to have all the attention on themselves.

Adult phasivo are just large enough to carry a light rider, though they don't often deign to. They can't be expected to do any hard work and certainly nothing that might bring up a sweat, on either them or their riders. Mostly the nobles who own them ride them for short trips around Synara, to show off to other members of the nobility; phasivo, the shinier the better, are an excellent indication of social status.

Where phasivo are already considered to be the best mounts money can buy, elite phasivo are reserved only for those who can offer certain shady dealers things... not so easy to procure. That being said, a number of the highest lords and ladies seem to be prancing around on elite phasivo, so the tales of shady dealers could just be stories told to keep the creatures from becoming too common. As with their slightly more numerous cousins, the phasivo, elite phasivo are vain and temperamental, and need constant reassurance to keep them from sulking off in a fit of pique.

Hatchling elite phasivo are a little more sedate than regular phasivo, or as some magi see it, snobbier. That doesn't mean they don't expect - demand - to be petted and praised, and they aren't above stealing some fine silks for a bed. While magi are preferred, and the higher-ranking the better, they'll accept cuddles from other creatures if it comes to it. Elite phasivo look down on their regular cousins and prefer not to socialize with them given the choice; they often interrupt attention given to regular phasivo to try and steal it for themselves.

Adult elite phasivo are just large enough to carry a light rider, though they need to be convinced to with treats, kisses, and promises of drawing attention. They can't be expected to do any hard work and certainly nothing that might bring up a sweat, on either them or their riders. Mostly the nobles who own them ride them for short trips around Synara, to show off to other members of the nobility; a noble lord or lady on the back of an elite phasivo is announcing to the world that they are disgustingly wealthy and important.
