Brazen sighed at the women's insistence, but did not argue. He shifted back to his human form, quickly grabbing his scraped ribs with a hiss of pain. He followed them toward the hut, growing concerned as he started to feel chills in his muscles and the pain of his wounds growing worse.
"Guys, I don't want you to think I'm... mansick... or anything, but I think those cats have something about their claws and bites that infect us." He said.

Liam stepped out of the hut just as the others were approaching. He held the door open for them, nodding at Brazen.
"No, I think you're right, Braze."

Raven and company also shifted back to their human forms when they got into sight of the healer hut and Zoe grew concerned when she heard Brazen hiss a bit in pain and also saw him hold his ribs. Raven and Aisling also looked at him with concern on their faces and then it only grew when they heard what he said afterward. Zoe’s concern also grew and was about to ask him why he hadn’t said that earlier when she had asked if he was okay but then just thought that maybe the pain had just come now. She was about to ask him that to confirm before Liam came out of the hut and she heard him say what he did.
“Are you hurting like Brazen, too Liam?” she asked curiously before Aisling asked a few minutes after she had asked her own question, “Is Brina okay?”

Liam looked at Zoe, tilting his head a bit. "I was. Not so much now." he stepped to the side and ushered them inside. "Brina is resting. In the meantime, get checked out and make sure you all pass the healer's inspection." Without another word, he walked away, hurrying toward where he knew the pack leaders would be gathering.

Brazen slipped inside the healer's hut, leaning against the healing table. He knew it wouldn't take Tami long to fix him up.

((sure . sorry this is a bit late. was kind of busy at work and then when I got home from work the rest of the day, I got more busy not just with finishing up what needed to be done work-wise but also putting dinner together and then also putting some stuff together for both tonight’s small dinner and stuff to bring tomorrow))

Zoe nodded and then both she and Aisling went inside to get their wounds seen to by Tami after Liam headed towards the elder’s meeting place. Tami looked them over and healed their minor wounds before turning her attention to her nephews.

The next morning found Sabrina still under the covers of the medical bed at the healing hut. Tami tried to coax her out but to no avail. Even Zoe and Aisling tried and got the same result as the healer/Alpha female of their pack. They then left, figuring that they’d try again later and that was when she did come out from under the covers. Her cheeks were cherry red in color but she was feeling much better from the previous day. She got up and headed out of the hut, wanting to find Liam and talk to him but saw that some other girls in their village were surrounding him on his way to the medical hut (if that’s okay; if not, I can edit). She sighed before letting some people there know that she was going to patrol, then heading towards the lake, and a particular tree on the other side of it that she sat in sometimes just to be alone afterward. When she got to the tree, she climbed it, and then sat in it with her back up against the trunk of it and her legs extended in front of her as she looked out at the reflective surface of the calm lake.

Liam heard from Zoe and Aisling that Sabrina was not leaving her bed. Tami said she would be fine and just needed more rest. He tried to comfort himself in that, but found he couldn't stand it. He had to go see her.
As he made his way toward the healers hut, however, he fell victim to some sort of practical joke (courtesy of Brazen and Blair). A throng of girls swarmed him, asking a dozen questions about how he fought off a pack of wild bears the night before, single handed, and if he would take them to the village dance.
He slipped into the healers hut, away from the throng of girls, only to find Sabrina wasn't there.
Frustrated, he slipped out a window, shifted into wolf form, and charged down to the lake. Once at the lake, he made sure he wasn't followed. Sniffing the air, he could smell Sabrina nearby. She didn't smell like she was in danger. He couldn't see her, so he decided she might not want to be found.
He shifted back to his humanoid form and decided to play it cool. He found some stones and began to skip them across the water.

Sabrina had gone down to the ground a little while after climbing up into the tree to get some stones in hand and then went back up into it before skipping some stones across the lake’s surface until they landed on the other side. She had one left just before Liam appeared. She sighed a bit before skipping the last one and it gave a splash just before it sank in front of the end of the lake. She let one of her legs dangle as the other one laid flat against the tree branch and she tried to keep her emotions under control. “So do you like one of those girls?” she asked as calmly as she could. She thought that maybe now wasn’t a good time to officially tell him how she felt until she heard his answer.

Liam gave a slight start at Sabrina's voice. He looked up at her and knit his brows.
"No. I don't like any of those girls." He paused slightly, realizing that sounded bad, "I mean, I don't DISLIKE any of those girls. I just don't particularly LIKE-like any of them." He shrugged, then looked up at her. "Why?"

Sabrina sighed quietly in relief when she heard that he didn’t like-like any of those girls before hearing his question. She blushed a bit before saying in reply, “I love you Liam. I wanted to tell you that officially because when I said that before, I was delirious. I remembered that and it made me embarrassed so I hid under the covers of the bed in the healer hut to hide my red cheeks. I also saw you talking to those girls and thought that maybe you liked one of them. I might have also been a bit um jealous when I saw that.”

Liam's heart swelled as Sabrina spoke. Heat rushed to his cheeks, and he felt a stupid grin that he could not control spreading across his face. He tried to think of something sweet and eloquent to say to her and let her know how he felt about her, but his brain had turned to a swirling puddle of emotions in his excitement.
He looked her in the eyes, feeling the incredible urge to pull her into his arms. "Sabrina... may I kiss you?"

Sabrina was quiet and looking at the surface of the lake, waiting for Liam to say something or not to say something and growing a bit worried as well as nervous when it seemed to be awhile until he did say something. What he asked, though was unexpected but it made her happy all the same. “Yes,” she said in reply before getting down from the tree branch she was sitting on so that he wouldn’t have to cause more work for himself to reach her. She looked up into his eyes and stupidly wondered if him asking what he did meant that he felt the same way she did but would wait to hear that from him before she assumed anything.
