Hmmm, I wonder what would happen if I tried giving the potion to one of the Progenitors of a lineage with no offspring?
(And, yes there are such things - I assume the offspring were lost during one of the early site hiccups.)

It would work, but the progenitors wouldn't be able to produce any offspring after that.

How long will this quest for obtaining the potion be available? Is it permanent (aka we can access/obtain it as much as we want if we have the fishes and such) or is it temporary (and what day does it end/go away)?

If you haven't started the quest by now--it's gone, but you can buy the potion with 2 male donec hatchlings whether you completed the quest or not.

How long will the potion be available for purchase? Is it limited or is it just a new feature we can all have/use from now on?
