If you are talking about the items from the Black Market bags/cookies etc. no they cannot be traded. Some you can use to transform adults can be used if people send you the adults though.

Do name changes not go through Morgaln anymore? I remember PMing them awhile ago asking for one and never got word back. I left it alone in case they needed time then i kind of just forgot about it until now. Did I do something wrong?

No they still go through Morg.

I feel like this is a dumb question, but can someone explain what friends and foes are?

friends are people that you deal with on the regular. (like you're always messaging each other, you purchase/trade with them a lot, etc. ya know Friends. ^^ i use it to keep track of people i Always want to give gifts to during those times when we can.)
and foes are people you don't want to see or hear from. (basically it's your list of blocked/black listed users.)

[edits to add] i should probably also mention that the people on either list are not told that they are. so people on your friends list might Hope they are but won't know for sure unless you tell them. and the same goes for the people on the foes list. so nobody will know if you're lurking in the shadows or if you're ghosting them. (joking, of course. i will neither condone or condemn lurkers or ghosties. ;) )
