Whenever i try to create a new tab, after confirming i get sent back to my keep, and the tab is not there. I refreshed thinking it may solve the problem, but apparently not. Tried different names just in case, still nothing. Am i doing something wrong? At another time i did create tabs and that worked. (also sorry if someone already asked for this!)
another question, how do i join "shops" (the 'obtained from' some creatures have)?

You don't need to 'join' any shops. They're all located under the 'Shops' tab in the navigation bar, which gives you access to the Donation Shop, Remy's Inn and the Trading Post.
However there are Guilds and Associations you can join that gives you access to more shops.
There are three guilds(Dark Brotherhood, Society of the Trident and Herbalist's Guild) and you can only belong to one at a time. Two associations (Artificer's Association and Preservationists Association) and you can join as many of those are you. There's also the Black Market, which appears every now and then.
All of these require you to complete quests to join.

You can join these two Associations (you can join as many of these as u want).

These are the three quests that let you join a Guild - you can only choose ONE of these quests to join that specific guild. You can do a different quest to remove yourself from a guild, but that will cost you 100,000 gold (which is expensive). So choose your guild wisely.
