DP's Magi Critters

I think I'm gonna give it a go attempting to make my own MS style creatures just for fun ^w^ Going to post the sprites and their stories as I create them. Feel free to comment, and I may eventually do requests if their is a wanting for that. But for now it's just fun ^w^
~Caligos~
This fluffy egg softens around your touch.
Young caligos are commonly found napping around the grounds of the keep. Though other young creatures approach to play with the young balls of living fluff, as they go to join them they appear to lose their shape. White tufts come off of their form more and more as the younglings roughhouse, rendering the outline of their form. Before too long they return to their napping place, dozing away as they grow back to their original size by drawing from the air around them.
Adult caligos are commonly found in the northern regions of the world; where the air is thinner and they can move about without much exertion. The preferred messengers for air magi, these canidae make frequent trips around the keep -- usually running errands for their masters. If you look closely you'd noticed their feet don't quite touch the ground as they walk by -- instead they float on past, walking on nothing but the air that surrounds them.
Fiercely loyal, caligos will stop at nothing to protect the Magi that they care for -- even going as far as stealing the breath from nearby enemies to stop the threat. They can extinguish the fire from flame, and control the four winds at their leisure. A well trained caligos is a powerful ally. Though weak as a youngling, as they grow they become more capable of harnessing the atmosphere. Untrained caligos tend to be reckless; traveling in packs and toppling forests with their antics. Even a pair of the creatures are capable of blowing over a field's worth of crops.
