I'm not sure if I'd be considered a furry? I don't roleplay or cosplay. But I do draw them a lot and have a lot of OCs that are anthros. I even have a "fursona" that I doodle sometimes. Oh and I draw my friends' fursonas and anthro characters alllll the time.
I enjoy the concept of human/animal hybrids and feel they make characters super interesting!

I have never been or wanted to be a furry. I think I saw a couple of them randomly at Walmart. It was weird, funny and intriguing at the same time. I think it would be awesome to cosplay as a furry at a convention or even do like the ones I say and just go to Walmart like that. It looks like it would be easier to be yourself if you were hiding behind those furry costumes. I am very curious about them. I support people doing things like that as long as they don't harm themselves or anyone. Furry on my Furry friends!

Hey everyone! Though these replies is very and super late, here they are!

Welcome to the community and yay!

It all depends on you really, would you consider yourself a furry? You don't have to roleplay or cosplay to even be a Furry. Same goes for drawing, it is awesome that you draw a fursona for you and your friends too! It is really interesting to see so many different species turned into anthros, just to see how they look, it is so cool!

It is super awesome you support people for being them, it is true, so long as they don't hurt themselves or others, it is perfectly fine! It is easier to be ones true self behind a mask or in a costume, sort of like being online, it is easier to be yourself and be expressive then in person. But to do it in person and to be yourselves towards others, it is feels like you are not chained up and sort of feeling like you are floating in a cloud. It is diffidently fun, weird and intriguing but also very enjoyable >w< squee!

Again to everyone T^T Sorry this reply is super late! Shame on me for neglecting this forum for so long! Didn't know new posts were on here! o0o *bows for forgiveness* Hope everyone also have a great Christmas last year, a wonderful New Years this year plus a joyful Valentine or UnValentine Day as well!

I don't know how long I have been a furry myself, but I did discover it shortly after graduating. I personally have a couple sona characters. My first main one that I used to draw art of a lot was a tortie/calico with large white patches of fur which I believe is known as somantic mutation named Frost. I then changed up their design and turned them into a german shepherd dog under the name Audrey. Keeping them as the shepherd I changed their coat pattern to the recently discovered panda mutuation also under the same name. I finally recently changed them to a currently unnamed Muntjac deer.

I also have a dragonsona named Night who I may redesign an well as rename in the future. Then there is my scalesona or crocsona that is a Black Caiman named Camille.
