I wouldn't mind new species of cat-like critters, but I'd prefer not to have a remake of the temple cat, or any of the older donations. Though if it happened I wouldn't complain or anything. It's not a big deal to me.

I just went digging in a few people's Keeps and I noticed the people who don't want another Temple Cat already have one. I think they don't want another because their Temple Cats will lose value and won't be as special.

I have one. I don't want a new one. I don't care about the value because I never plan on selling mine and it will still be special because it was the first pet I ever bought here. Point invalid for most people.

I personally just don't see why people, in general, seem to feel the need to have multiples of creatures. Like, I don't understand what the big draw is on having something that's basically a copy of something else, maybe with a few changes.

Other than the whole "I wasn't around for the first ones" excuse, I have yet to see anyone give a valid reason why they want new temple cats, at least from my perspective.

I don't think it's possible to present a valid reason as to why an old creature should be remade besides "I don't have one, I can't afford one, therefore I want a remake/re-release". I could probably go ahead and ask for a new Void Dragon or a Light Unicorn.


I wish for people who want a new cat to stop spitting on those who don't. The poll has a 'no' option so we have a right to say no.

Personally, I would love more cats- particularly anything with the Himalayan patterning (dark points). But then, I just like cats.

Just because I have one is not a valid reason to assume that's the reason why I don't want one. I won't ever sell the Temple Cats I have because it took me a while to get them, so it's not about the money.

Are you trying to say my not wanting to see a remake of the Temple Cat is an invalid reason?

I don't have a temple cat and i wouldn't want a remake. I'd prefer the time to be spent on coming up with new creatures rather than remakes. Sure if a remakes released i wouldn't mind though

Agreed about the old version versus new of the CWs there. The old ones were the very reason I didn't join this site when it first started. I was like, 'wtf: this is a fantasy site but it's just another Pokemon site?!'

I think when folks complain very dramatically that they don't want "new" versions, they mostly want to retain the elitism from having an "old" version of said creature. As long as there is only one temple cat, it will be a huge badge of honor for those that own them. If they get released again in a different variant the older ones won't have any diminishing value or anything. The old CWs still go for ridiculous amounts. *shrugs*

I don't mind remixes of older creatures at all. I didn't have any crystalwings, and look, now I have many. Sure, they're not the old ones. But there's NO WAY I will have multiple old cw's, so I'm thrilled that I can own these new ones. The auction system isn't an option for me, seeing as I have terrible luck and am not good at sniping with the time variances like some people here, so I'll never get anything from those (unless we get a real auction house with clock). So why grudge the newer users a recolor?

Everyone will get other spirtes. It's not like making a recolor takes away from other creatures, since we have multiple artists.
