A once vivacious life
beautiful and warm
yet glaringly overbearing at times

one instance is all it takes
to turn that power inwards
pulling all it's light inside itself

from brilliant glory
to sinister darkness
it sits there in greed
devouring all that comes close

There's in a hand a strange creature
avenging for every failure
Once a dreamwing's coloured by night
Once this will end the fight.

Time comes changing the line
the weapon falls

A tiny rat!

Light is rising
Grey turns red
Life awaken

Fearless, I am!
Is what she shrieked
as the thunder rolled
and lightning struck.

Her long hair blowing
in the harsh cold wind.
As she stood up to touch
the clouds.

The apple tree that she
grew from when she was seven.
Fell down as she tried to
reach out and touch the heavens.

The branches broke
and the stump went crack.
As her entire childhood
fell down on her back.

Apple tree

apples, apples as far as I can see.
A great Yin-Yang, borne from one tiny seed.
There is an apple that will kill
and yet, many a child take their fill.
The same apple full of good power
makes a murder within an hour.
