back in my day, you could play songs on a touch-tone phone! (just make sure you called your friend first, before you started playing....)

Back in my day, there wasn't anything to do indoors during the summer because the networks' habit of playing 'baby programming' during school hours didn't change when there wasn't school, and the internet wasn't really a Thing yet

Back in my day...there were no mp3 players! In fact, when we first heard about mp3 players coming out on the radio, we didn't even know what mp3 meant!

back in my day if you heard a song on the radio you wanted to record, you had to wait until you heard it again, and made sure your cassette recorder was at the ready!

I have told them about dial up internet, the look the oldest gives me is hilarious. Oh, and how I was about 15-16 when cellphones became really common.
