The Iridescent Horsefly is yet another creature that was originally done back in 2019 and has been waiting in the backlog to be released, so I'm happy it's finally out! ^_^

Huh. I like these better than I thought I would. When I saw the name horsefly, I was like, 'Not another bug!' I didn't expect it to be literal. :lol:

I still find the snout adorable. Reminds me of the Aardvark from Pink Panther cartoons.

Also, I would love to see some crafting/item/quest related action where either magis find a way to collect some of the oil the horseflies leave on fruits or certain creatures search for such deserted fruits to use a little bit of the oil to cover themselves with an iridescent shimmer. Of course, the oil should not do them any harm but protect them in some way or make them attractive for breeding new hybrids with some other critters or something along these lines. So many possibilities. :t-:3:

i absolutely love every sprite for these. they are gorgeous creatures- the adults are probably one of my new favorite streamborn species now.
